Nevada sat on the docks, her arms crossed over her chest, thinking. It wasn't long ago that she approached Tristan on the same docks and ended up fucking near to where she stood.
HOW did that man fall in love with her after she had behaved like a floozy? Well....she HAD been one. Now she was married and pregnant with his child. Damn, things changed fast, she thought to herself.
The situation itself could have been a bad one-pregnant outside of wedlock with a man's baby who had a penchant for opium and whores....yet somehow he changed-for her-because he loved her and she felt ridiculously lucky.

Raven marched herself down the dock, taking her time. It wasn't long ago that Jack Kelly himself was marching her down these very docks to meet with Spot, to make him take her in. God it seemed like a lifetime ago though. Everything changed quickly after that...and now look at where she was, crawling herself out of a fucking rat's nest bit by bit trying to find the sun.
She walked up to Nevada and didn't say hello, no, instead she said, "What the fuck is your problem?"

Nevada nearly squealed and Rae's approach. She stood up and dusted herself off and stared at her open mouthed, shaking her head, "No--nothing." She sputtered out, absently resting a hand on her growing stomach. "The fuck is your problem?" Nevada said, dropping her hand and getting a grip on herself.

"Nothing? Really? Fucking nothing?" Raven questioned crossing her arms. "Everytime I try to fucking talk to you it's like you don't want to be bothered! Are we friends or not? Cause you know I really don't need this sort of bullshit right now." Raven was so mad, she didn't even know how to contain it. It was like people didn't know what to do around her anymore or even how to talk to her. She didn't think that Nevada would fall into that, but evidently she did.

Nevada licked her lips, biding time, not wanting to tell her what it really was. "I'm sorry....I just...I've been distracted lately," Nevada said, trying to dance around the subject. Though....wouldn't a newlywed BE distracted? Right?

"FINE!" Nevada said, putting her hands out and pushing her away from her, allowing for her to have SOME space, "You want to KNOW what it is?!" Nevada shouted back, "I can't TAKE the way you look at me when you see me....see this," she said pointing down to her stomach, "I....I feel horrible....I FEEL like me being pregnant reminds you of what you lost and it makes me really FUCKING uncomfortable! I THOUGHT I was being considerate of your feelings by making myself scant but it seems to me as if nope that won't do it either." Nevada shot back.

Nevada put a hand over her stomach again, a habit she'd developed as well. "You really expect people to even WANT to be around you after you fucking SHOUT at them? REALLY? You think THAT'S the right way to get your friends back?" Nevada asked with a raised eyebrow, "All you're doing is pushing people farther away!" Nevada said, a hint of a laugh on her voice at the ridiculousness of it all. "Look you went through something horrible and NO ONE knows how to behave-to we cuddle you and tell you everythings okay? Do we go back to normal? WHAT?!" Nevada said with a sigh, running her free hand through her hair.
