"Ah so your family has been here a long time," Raven nodded. She ate a scoop of her own sundae and closed her eyes. It was so good. SO good. When she opened her eyes she squinted and the glared. Off in the distance was a boy selling newspapers, but all the while keeping his eye on her.
"Persistant fuckers..." She mumbled to herself.

Raven nodded to the newsie across the street. "You didn't notice him before?" She said. "He's been here for about fifteen minutes, hasn't sold one pape but still standing there."
"I should probably go." She didn't look at Sapphy when she spoke, instead she was still staring at the newsie. "You can have the rest of my Sundae if you want." She smiled.
((HAHAH Probably should have been clear that she was talking about the bird stalking her.))

"Nope. I'm not supposed to know he's watching me, but I do." She smirked at Sapphy, "I thought he missed the trolley, but I guess he realized where I was going." Raven shrugged. "Ain't nothing I can do about it." She walked back over to her Sundae and ate another bite. "So good..."

Sapphy gave the boy one more uneasy glance. But she figured if this girl -- who of course knew more about it than her -- wasn't worried about it, than neither would she.

Sapphy, of course always up for some kind of fun, bolted after Raven. As soon as they got close enough, Sapphy pushed her in and fell in after her.
