"Yes -- it's so much better!" Sapphy followed her. They were up to their shoulders when she asked, "So, uhm, if you don't mind me asking... Who was that guy?" She nodded her head back to the newsboy from the boardwalk.

"He's a bird." Raven said with a sigh, looking out to the beach. "He's supposed to be following me. It's for my own good, but it just gives me the creeps." Raven shivered and it wasn't from the chill in the water. "I'm a newsie...from Brooklyn..."
