Tristan paced the front room, back and forth, back and forth, thinking about how he was going to tell Nevada about Jo. Mikey looked up from his from his seat on the ground with his mouth hanging open, staring.
"Da?" He asked.
Tristan sighed heavily and then bent down to pick up Mikey.

Nevada hurried up to the apartment, Lucy close to her to keep her away from the cold wind that was blowing.
"Tristan? Mikey?" She called as she stepped into the apartment, her face lit up when she saw them in the living room.

"Hey," Tristan said with a smile. Mikey immediately started reaching for her squealing.
"How was your day?" He asked absently before chewing on a fingernail.

"It was fun, we fed the ducks." Tristan said and then set Mikey down on the floor, he handed him his teddy bear to play with.
