She grinned and tilted her head, after what they'd gone through-- with his brother and she'd managed to settle it without getting any of them hurt by being clever, "I'm sure bet, lad."

She laughed and shook her hair away from her shoulders, "Because...you keep them comin' back for more. Makes them think and dream and make up their own endin' while they're gone." She tapped her nose. "Story teller secret, always leave them wanting more."

"What kinda books do ya read?" her eyes lifted to his, he'd asked her for a real story and she hadn't left anything out. Her story was filled with death and loss... but she wanted new chapters to be happier.

He lifted his shoulders and smiled down at her. "Anything. Didn't really have many books when I was a kid, but there're a few book-lovers around here, and I borrow from them."

"Love ta read, Jack Jack was sayin' I should write my tales down.." she shrugged her shoulders. There weren't many people she liked spending a ton of time with like she did Niko. It was new. "I love books, any book.." And being one of the book worms that loved to read as much as she liked to tell stories... there was something they had in common.

"You should -- that way you can tell your stories to those people who can't come hear you in the park, or sit around the fire at night and listen." Pie smiled at her. The idea was a good one, she had a way of breathing life into a tale and making it stick in the imagination for hours afterward.

She tilted her head towards him and smile at the idea, Jack had said much of the same thing and told her she should try her hand at acting too. It was a lot to take in but she would think about it. She was just... a very imaginative girl from Ireland, nothing fancy.

"I love me Jack Jack--" He was like a brother to her and she did vaguely remember her own she just didn't talk about it. She nudged his arm with her shoulder and looked into the fire. "Good lad, he is. Though he gets 'imself into trouble. Aladdin.. that he is."
