"Hold on a second."
Tag picked up her book and skimmed through the last few chapters.
"Okay, we can go!"

"What?? Really??" Sapphy scrambled to her feet.

"I would never, ever, ever pass up the chance to go to the library!" Tag replied, standing up and tucking her book under her arm.

"Oh my god, I love you! Lemme see if I can find my check-out card. I won't be long, I promise!" Sapphy sprinted up the stairs, taking them two at a time.

Tag sat back down on the couch, apologizing to Lizzie for disturbing her when she stood up.

Sapphy flew back down the stairs, shaking her head.
"Looks like I'll need to buy a new one..." She said slowly, considering the money she made today in her pocket. She had enough to pay the library and for board for the night... She could eat tomorrow.

Tag's forehead furrowed a bit in concern.
"Are you sure? We can just go tomorrow." While Tag herself skipped meals occasionally, she was always quite worried when she thought someone else might have to.

"Oh yeah. I'd like to eat a good book right now. Check some out." Sapphy brightened, trying to convince Tag she was fine with it.

"All right." Tag nodded once and headed for the door.
She spent most of the walk there pondering what kind of book she wanted next...

"I think I'm gonna check out two. Wuthering Heights and something new..." Sapphy thought aloud as they entered the big building.

"If you need any help, I'd be glad to recommend something for you." Tag suggested as she turned her Pirate book into the front desk. She greeted the librarian by name and with a warm smile.

"Well, I'm getting some good romance. Need something a little more realistic -- perhaps sobering realistic."

"Any book about the Civil War will sober you up right away."
Tag decided she wanted a book about the jungle. Perhaps, The Jungle Book?

"I'm really bad when reading nonfiction," Sapphy admitted. "I can never finish."

"What about a diary? I read a soldier's diary a few weeks ago that read quite like a story..." She shrugged, walking slowly toward where she believed The Jungle Book was.
