"Maybe," Sapphy said thoughtfully, following Tag curiously.

Tag silently wound her way through the bookshelves until she found what she was looking for.
"Aha! I've been meaning to read this!" She picked out The Jungle Book, then saw something interesting next to it... She picked up that book, as well, and read the synopsis inside.
Daughter of a Viscount... Brothers... Stable boys... Grown up... Love triangle? Hmm... Without a word, Tag added it to her selection, her cheeks tinged with pink.

Sapphy patted Tag affectionately on the back.
"No need to blush around me, mademoiselle."

"I'm afraid I can't help it..." Tag replied with a small chuckle.
"You can go and look for your books. I can wait here." She espied an empty table where she could begin reading. Though which book, she had no idea.

Sapphy browsed for about ten minutes, fingers grazing over the books' spines as she went up and down aisles. She inhaled deeply.
There was nothing quite like the smell of the library.
She found a tattered leather-bound copy of Wuthering Heights and snatched it as if it were gold, or someone was going to fight her for it. She made her way back to Tag, already on the second page.

Tag was almost done with the first chapter of The Daughter's Dilemma when Sapphy joined her again.
"I sure wish I'd been the daughter of a Duke." She murmured.

"For the lifestyle or the possibility of getting ravished?" Sapphy asked, sitting down beside her.

"Well... both, to be honest." Tag covered her mouth in order to keep in her laughter.

"Are you ready to check out, then?" Tag asked softly, getting ready to stand.

"Yeah... I'm just gonna get the one. I forgot how thick it is -- it's not exactly light reading."

Tag just smiled, nodding a bit. She stood up and headed to the check out desk, anxiously awaiting to see what would happen in chapter two of her book.

"Thanks for suggesting we do this," Sapphy said. "I love it here."

"I'm glad you think so. There are so many newsies who wouldn't be caught dead in the library." She chuckled nervously, glancing over at Sapphy.

"Their loss and more for us," Sapphy shrugged, grinning at Tag.
