She checked her books out, making small talk with the librarian and promising her she would let her know what she thought of her books.

Sapphy started the process of getting a new library card. She handed over the fee and filled out her name without much thought. When she was finished and could take out Wuthering Heights, she didn't much mind.

"I'm never the one who comes up with ideas. Everyone else does and just invites me to... Well, tag along." She explained with a small, yet slightly embarrassed, chuckle.

"Quite hungry, actually..." Tag admitted. She had gotten so used to concealing hunger when she needed to that she always felt embarrassed when she did. 'Twas the life of newsie, she supposed.

Sapphy considered this. She had enough money to either eat or put a roof over her head. She preferred the roof. That only meant one thing.
"Come on, I have an idea," she said, taking Tag by the elbow and helping her stand up.
