"To a place I know with amazing burgers, don't worry so much," Sapphy smiled at her reassuringly.
It wasn't too far away, in the same direction as the lodge. Back behind an alley there was a sign that read Charlie's and Sapphy ushered Tag inside.
It was tiny, but well-lit and homey. There was a bar and table and chairs squeezed close together.

"How did you find this place?" Tag whispered. Because the place was so small, Tag felt like she had to whisper. She didn't really know why.

Sapphy made a face.
"Unfortunately, I cannot take the credit," she gestured to the corner. Oscar and Morris were there, sipping on sodas.

Tag immediately hid her face with her books.

Sapphy smoothly lowered Tag's books. "Trust me," she said. She walked over to the Delancey's table.
"Hiya boys!" she smiled at them engagingly. Kennedy once forced Sapphy on a double date with them -- the crazy girl was head over heels for Oscar -- and they ended up coming here. She somehow had this feeling she'd find them here and Sapphy was not above flirting for dinner.
((Would you play one and I'll be the other? rofl))

"Heya toots. How come I haven't seen ya since our date." Morris replied, adjusting his hat with a flick of his finger. He looked Sapphy up and down approvingly and smiled a very creepy smile at her. He thought it was charming, though.
Tag was absolutely mortified. She had reluctantly followed Sapphy, but was praying neither of the Delancey brothers would say a word to her.

"Oh you know, busy busy," Sapphy smiled charmingly as she took Tag's hand in hers. "This is my cousin -- Jessica!"
"You look familiar..." Oscar squinted at Tag for a long, long moment. "But I can't remember," he waved it off. Good, Sapphy thought. She didn't want them to know Tag's name by the way Tag froze up.
"She just has one of those faces! Well, we don't wanna bother you," Sapphy said. "We're just getting some food to take home -- thought I'd say hello."

Morris stood up and put his hand on Sapphy's arm quickly.
"Wait a minute now..." He said, trying to act cool though the hint of panic in his voice couldn't be hidden. "Since you're here... And since we're here... Why don't ya just eat wid us? We could get to know yer cousin here. Right, Oscar?"
Tag could see what Sapphy was doing, but that didn't mean she liked it. She approved, yes, but she didn't like it.

"Yeah, right!" Oscar echoed. "Nice to meetcha, Jessica," he said as he stood and swept his hat off his head.
"I'm sorry, we really have somewhere to be," Sapphy said, as sweet as pie. For a second, even she believed herself.

"No, no, no... I insist." Morris interjected, his voice filled with charm/sliminess. He pulled up two chairs and bowed, indicating they sit down.
Tag stared at Sapphy, following her lead. She had almost screamed when Oscar had addressed her, but it helped he didn't say her real name. She'd have to thank her new friend for that later.

"Maybe for just a little bit," Sapphy said, her entire demeanor changed around Morris and Oscar -- her smile was much wider than usual.
Oscar waved over someone to get their order and when they finished he turned to 'Jessica.'
"So, where are you from?" he asked. Sapphy gave Tag a glance out of the corner of her eye.

Tag cleared her throat, wondering if she'd be able to talk. Maybe if she thought of it like acting in a play... She'd done that before and had actually been okay.
"I'm from South Carolina." She answered in a perfect Southern accent.
Morris winked at Sapphy before nodding at her.

Sapphy beamed at Tag. She nudged her knee with hers under the table, impressed... She should take Tag out with her to date for dinners more often!
She smiled at Morris and bit down on her lower lip, adverting her eyes. ...Ew.
"Really?!" Oscar said this like it was the most amazing thing in the world.

Tag nodded, not sure if she should laugh or cry. She presumed she and Sapphy would laugh about this later, but now she was just horrified.
"So, how come you never say hi to me at the DC?" Morris asked Sapphy, scooting his chair closer to her. Not that they weren't close already...

"I'm always on the run," she said with a slight pout.
"Well, what are ya doin' up here in New York?" Oscar asked conversationally.
