Adri was truly grateful she was there. She only knew a couple people in the city. But even then, they were a good car drive away.

"You really don't have to..." Teddy began, though he realized he should take advantage of the situation. He really wanted to see her again. "But you could take me out to dinner. That's honestly the best thing you could do for me."

Adri smiled brightly, completely excited of the thought of seeing him again.
"I'm up for that. But I wouldn't even know where to go... We'll end up at the sandwich place around the corner," she said, laughing. "How about you pick? It can be the start of your tour of the city."

"Sounds like a plan." Teddy nodded definitively, picking up his coke and taking a drink.
"I guess I'll let you unpack...?" He wasn't sure whether she wanted him to stay or if she wanted to be alone to unpack and unwind...

Adri nodded, looking at the boxes placed all around her apartment. She would've needed to dig through the boxes to find her clothes and anything else she would've needed for tonight. She wasn't rushing on unpacking but now that they're going out to dinner...
"Just knock on my door when you're ready," she said, smiling.

"Will do." He nodded before saying good-bye and heading back over to his place. What was it he was doing before he met her...?
About 8 hours later, Teddy was checking himself out in the bathroom mirror, trying to make sure he looked okay. He was wearing a light blue button up shirt, sleeves rolled up party way, and some plain khaki pants. He wasn't really sure if this was a date or not... But he decided to dress like it was, anyways, in case it turned out to be one.
After reaching full outfit satisfaction, he made his way across the street and knocked on Adri's door.

Once Teddy was out the door, Adri quickly began planning her day. Eat, unpack, look for clothes, shower, change, makeup, wait... Needless to say, Adri was excited. Since she had no idea where they were going, she wanted to play it safe. She didn't want to overdress or look like she was going to the grocery store. Finally deciding on skinny jeans an off-shoulder light sweater, Adri grinned. Who knew moving to the city could be so exciting?
Upon hearing a knock on the door, Adri bounced up from her couch and opened the door to see a well-dressed Teddy. "Hi."

"To the best Thai place I've ever been to. Although, I've never been to Thailand, so..." He chuckled, leading Adri down to his car.

"Me either," she chuckled, following him to his car. "But I love Thai food! Second to Korean food, of course. Then again, I'll almost anything."
She hoped she didn't come off as some sort of food addicted girl.

"Oh, me too." Teddy replied as he opened the car door for her. He had gone to have his car washed and cleaned out earlier that day, especially for this.
"I have to say, or maybe I should say 'warn' instead," He began after getting in the driver's seat. "I eat a lot. Like, really, a LOT."

"Should I be scared?" she said, chuckling softly as she sat inside. She took in how clean and fresh smelling his car was, amazed at the maintenance he did for his car. The most she did was put an air freshener inside and put gas in.
"Don't worry about it," said Adri, once Teddy was in the car. "I'm close to a lot of guys so I'm used to it."

"I got a job doing advertising over at the Financial District," she explained, looking out at the window to watch the scenery. "It was a good offer and figured California would be a nice change. I needed something new and different, anyway."
It was amazing how comfortable she felt with Teddy. She had just met him a few hours ago and she was almost ready to tell him her life story.
