"Advertising, wow. Must be really creative, then, huh?" Teddy had always had a thing for the creative ones. He was lucky this city was full of them, but he felt even luckier tonight.

"On a good day, it's pretty fun... I get to make up the text advertisements or work on campaigns. But there's times when I'm stuck doing reports," she explained, looking over at him. "I like it though. It keeps me on my toes."

"That's always nice when it comes to your job. I know so many people who complain and complain. 'Ah, my work is so boring, I'm so bored, blah blah blah.' Well, then why did you choose it?!" Teddy laughed, shaking his head. His sister was that person, and it bothered him immensely.

Adri laughed, nodding. "Exactly. It definitely makes a difference. So, uh, how did you end up managing all those fitness centers?" She was curious to see how Teddy would be all business-like. He was so relaxed and carefree that it was a bit difficult to see him in his manager position.

"I worked at one all throughout college back in LA. My boss adored me, so when he found out I was moving here, he contacted his friend who works at one here. Got me a job, then with my business degree I was able to take over as manager. I don't really know how the other centers came into play, but one day I realized there was more than one!"
He drove smoothly and confidently to the restaurant, getting hungrier and hungier the closer they got.

"That just means you're good at what you do," said Adri, smiling at him. "Or else you wouldn't have gotten this far."

"That's what I like to think, too." Teddy nodded, returning her smile. He finally pulled up to the restaurant, snagging a close parking spot.
"Well, this is it." It looked like a tiny place, very hole-in-the-wall, but that usually meant the place was a best kept secret.

Adri looked out the window, eyeing the place. It was definitely small, she knew that she would've easily missed it but the amount of people at the door was a good sign. There were people waiting outside to be seated, patiently waiting for their name to be called. "I'm excited," she said, getting out of the car. "I actually haven't had Thai food in a while." ((Sleepy time for me! Ttyl! )

"You are going to love this, I guarantee it." He closed her door for her and led her to the front. He greeted the hostess by name, and she led them straight inside, past all the people waiting, to a cozy booth in the back.

Once out of the car, Adri couldn't do anything but follow him. She thought they'd wait for a little bit, even for five minutes but apparently Teddy had this all planned out from the start.
"You come here a lot?" she asked, chuckling. It seemed as if Teddy was close friends with almost every worker inside the restaurant. It was definitely a sight to see.

"I'd say I've been here more than I care to admit." He answered, laughing at himself. "But, I did call ahead to tell them we were coming. It's not like they save this table for me every night just in case. Not yet, anyway."
Teddy smiled at the waitress and took the menu, even though he knew what he wanted.

"Not yet?" smiled Adri, teasing him. She thanked the waitress for the menu and began looking over the options. "So... what do you recommend? Which one should I definitely try?"

"If you like curry, the green curry here is heavenly. I'm getting the chicken pad thai, though. I'm feeling normal tonight, gonna take the normal route. And some basil rolls?" He looked at her, waiting for her yay or nay on the basil rolls.

Adri nodded at him, setting down the menu. Thanks to Teddy, she didn't even need to read it!
"Sounds perfect. I'm ready whenever you are," she smiled, taking in the look and feel of the restaurant.

Teddy looked up, made eye contact with their waitress, and nodded for her to come over.
She came to their table, pen and paper ready to jot down their order. Teddy gestured for Adri to go first because, after all, he was a gentleman.
