"Chicken pad thai, and an order of basil rolls, please. And two Cokes. Thanks." Teddy handed his menu in, smiling at first the waitress then at Adri.
"How did unpacking go?"

"Hey, for the first day, that's not too bad. My first day, I didn't unpack anything. Slept on the couch, got a pizza delivered, that's it." It seemed like such a long time ago, but it had only been about 2 years.
Teddy also realized that he loved the sound of her laugh. He needed to think of witty things to say just to make her laugh.

"Hey, unpacking's hard," said Adri, taking a sip of her water. "I don't blame you. If you didn't ask me to go out, I would've done the same thing."
She bit back a smile, glad that she was able to spend more time with him.

Teddy crossed his arms on the table and smiled over at her, hoping he wasn't being creepy.

"Superpower? Hmm," said Ershey, thinking as she played with the sugar packets on the table. "Flying's so unoriginal... and so is stopping time. Maybe... teleporting? I can go anywhere I want, whenever I want! That was a random question."
She laughed, amused. "What would yours be?"

"It's the one question I ask everyone. It kinda helps me see what they really want out of life. Like you, you obviously don't like to waste time. You'd rather cut out all the travelling time and just get where you need to go. Am I right?"
Teddy hoped he was at least a little bit right. He'd always prided himself on being able to read people well, and this was one time he did not want to be wrong.

"It's really just more convenience. The way I look at it... with transportation nowadays and how hectic flying can be, I'd rather just get to where I want to be as soon as possible. Y'know, so I can travel to so many different places. So.. yeah, I guess you're right," said Adri, chuckling softly. "But, hey, you didn't answer my question! What would yours be?"

"But, seriously, I would want to able to create things with my mind. Like, I could make any kind of food I want by just thinking about it." Adri couldn't help but laugh, completely amused. "So, you'll never starve? Remind me to look for you when I need to do grocery. You'll be my personal go-to store."
He was definitely fun and she loved it. She loved how he could make her laugh without trying too hard.

"Deal," said Adri, chuckling softly. In the corner of her eye, she could see the waitress heading over to their table with their food. She grinned, excited to try what the Thai place had to offer. The waitress set their plates down carefully, smiled at them and left after making sure that they had all that they needed.

Mush gestured for her to try hers first. He was excited yet anxious to see her reaction. He would feel like an idiot if she thought her food wasn't good when he'd been praising this place all night.
He slowly took some chopsticks and began twirling his noodles, watching Adri as she began to eat.

Adri grabbed her chopsticks, picking up an eggplant that was in her green curry. Taking a bite out of it, she smiled at Teddy and nodded, "I like it! How's yours?"
