Tara nodded. "I guess I'll find out. I'd like to be friends again, though. And I'm going to be persistent." She gave Jack her most determined look as she finished off her beer. Her gaze drifted out to the dance floor.

Goblin pondered Script's question as they walked down the street. There had to be a way to answer it without telling her everything. "Well...Clara and I ran away, so there was always the chance our parents might be looking for us. Then we kind of each got in some trouble with the law, so there was a chance they might be looking for us. I guess by the time we got here, we were both a little on the paranoid side."

"Would you like to?" She grinned back, totally sincere. She liked Jack. She even liked that he'd been so cagey about letting her know where Wraith was. It was nice to know someone else was looking out for your childhood sweetheart.
