"And I actually agree," scoffed Risk before raising an eyebrow at Macbeth. "What're you doing all the way over there?"

Beth blinked at the stranger. "Well, you can join the club of people he's managed to piss off as soon as he met 'em." She turned to Risk and raised a very sarcastic eyebrow back at him. "Why? Did you wanna cuddle?"

"But you don't hate me, do you?" smirked Risk. The last time he saw her was when he took her and Ershey out to Tibby's for lunch. He remembered how Macbeth managed to stand up for him against his sister. He figured that if she did that, she couldn't possibly hate him too much.

Macbeth snorted and looked up at the sky. She didn't answer the question. She just said, "You oughta visit Jo with me sometime," which was actually a very clear answer in itself.
After a moment, she eyed the strange boy again. "Does this new person you met even talk? What the hell were the two of you doing before I came up, having a brooding contest?"

"I talk but only when it counts," Tristan said with a smirk. "I said all I needed to say to this guy."

Macbeth looked from him to Risk and raised an eyebrow again, giving Risk a look that said, I'm getting this story out of you later. She would have made some smartass remark to the stranger, but she was distracted by the fact that he looked vaguely familiar.

Tristan raised an eyebrow at her and looked her dead in the eyes. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
((please don't tell me he screwed her too! You know its bad when you loose control over your own characters...OR...wait maybe he would have been too young hold on I am messaging you))

She frowned at him. He wasn't from the old lodging house where she and Ershey met, and he certainly wasn't from London. That left only one place. "The Points?" she suggested stiffly. Just what she needed--someone to dredge up childhood memories. He must have lived in the neighborhood, or frequented the same seedy bars and dance halls where she always tagged along with Ada and April.
((Nooo, definitely not! Macbeth hasn't even had her first kiss yet, haha.))

Tristan immediately got a hard look on his face and raised his chin a little. "Who the hell are you?" He asked her. He didn't need the son of a bitch cop knowing where he was really from. If Risk figured out everything about him he could get thrown in the slammer for years.

Her eyebrows practically flew off her face. "I should be asking you! You think I remember everyone from that godforsaken neighborhood? What does it even matter?" she snapped, turning away from him with a hard little smirk. "Anyway, I'm sure you're thinking of my sister, Adeline. She was the main fucking attraction back in the day."

Adeline? Why did that sound so familiar? Adeline...oh that Adeline! They'd had some pretty wild nights together back in the day. Lots of fucking, fighting, booze, the whole deal. She had a sister, this girl was her sister.
"You're..." He immediately shut his mouth. "Talk to me later alright?" He said to her pointedly.

Macbeth narrowed her eyes at him. "What the hell would you want to talk to me about? I ain't much for reminiscing." She glanced at Risk, wishing this guy would get out of here so she could ask Risk who he was and what he was doing here.

"I don't really wanna reminisce either, but you keep opening up your mouth bout where we come from. Seemed like you wanted to talk." He crossed his arms and glared at her. She was still frustrating as ever.

She glared at him. Seriously? "You asked if you knew me from somewhere! So I bloody told you where! And what do you care what he knows?" she asked, her forehead wrinkling as she looked back at Risk, who was obviously hesitant to interrupt such a heated conversation.

"Cause I don't like acquaintances knowing my business," he glared at her and then lit a cigarette. He turned to head toward the back of the rooftop.
"Risk, remember what I said," he added as an afterthought.
