"Alright, I'll keep my mouth shut," laughed Adri as she leaned back on her chair. The rest of the night was amazing, with Adri grinning throughout the whole play.

Teddy kept glancing over at her, glad to see she was enjoying herself. When it was over, he took her hand so they wouldn't get separated in the crowd.

Even after the curtain call, Adri couldn't stop smiling. She felt her heart skip a beat when he held her hand, amazed at how he could still make her feel that way.
"Thanks again for taking me here," she said, once they were far from the crowd.

"It was my pleasure. And thanks for coming," he replied, squeezing her hand. The great thing about this was he didn't feel at all awkward, even though it was technically a first date.

Teddy smiled over at her before shifting his gaze down to their feet walking on the sidewalk.
They passed a small coffee shop on the way back to Adri's place, and the smell lured Teddy to the door. "Wanna get something to drink?"

"Sure," she laughed, amused at how food can distracted Teddy so easily. "Have you been here before?"

"Not that I remember..." he replied a bit hesitantly. There were so many coffee shops in New York, it was possible he had been there. But he really couldn't remember.
He spotted an empty table in the corner and led Adri to it, pulling out a chair for her. "I'll just go get in line. What do you want?"

"Surprise me," she shrugged, not even fighting him over the bill. She was too happy to make a fuss over anything.

A few minutes later, Teddy came back with one regular coffee and one cinnamon latte. He handed her the drink before sitting down across from her.
"Anything exciting happen while I was gone?"
