Teddy blushed, sipping his coffee. After he got over his embarrassing Star Wars reference, they spent the next half hour or so talking about old times, present times, joking and teasing. He'd had so much fun that, when he found himself standing with Adri at her front door, he seriously didn't want to say good night.

Adri fiddled with her keys, a bit sad that she was finally back home. She knew she already said 'thank you' a bit too much, so instead of expressing herself verbally, she reached up and enveloped him in a hug.

Teddy accepted the hug, wrapping his arms tightly around her. He buried his nose in her hair, breathing in the scent of her shampoo and her perfume.

Teddy was torn. He wanted to, but this was only their "first" date. Plus, tomorrow was a weekday. He had work and school...
"I better not..." he replied hesitantly, regret laced in his tone. "Got a busy day tomorrow. But, uhm, you wanna have lunch tomorrow? You can come to Apple."

Adri pulled back, a bit disappointed yet thankful for his invite. "I actually can't," she answered, a smile playing on her lips. She was going to tell him later but she figured she might as well now. "I signed up for Culinary School... and I start tomorrow. How's dinner sound for you?"

Teddy rolled his eyes a bit, though he couldn't wipe his smile off his face.
"That's really, really great, Adri. I'm so proud of you," he pulled back and, before he could think and stop himself, he had pressed his lips to hers.

Adri was about to say something when she suddenly felt his lips on hers. She melted under his kiss despite its abruptness. She pulled back after a couple of seconds, her cheeks blushing a deep shade of red. "Uh, yeah, thanks..."
