Ershey chuckled softly, taking a bite out of her food. "I'm really glad I ran into you though..." she said sincerely. She wouldn't have known what to do by herself all the way here in New York.

Teddy had quickly dished his food and already had a huge bite on his fork. Before he stuffed it in his mouth, he paused, looking over at Adri with a soft smile.
"I'm glad, too. Really glad," he reached across the table and put his hand on hers.

Adri smiled, feeling butterflies in her stomach once he reached over to touch her hand. She almost forgot what it was like to be with him and now that he was here, she still couldn't resist him.
"L-let me get that for you," said Adri nervously as she hesitantly disentangled her hand from his and grabbed their plates. She walked over to the sink, trying her best to calm her nerves.

Teddy restrained himself from accosting her as she took off with his plate. "Er...can I have some more, actually?"

Adri looked behind her and shook her head at him, laughing. "Of course you can," she said, glad that she hadn't rinsed his plate just yet as she placed another spoonful of mashed potatoes and pork chops on his plate. "Here you go."

Teddy licked his lips before diving in, his mouth full within seconds. "This is really amazing, Adri," he said once he'd swallowed his large forkful.
