"Hey, they're getting married, it's a good thing! And...I mean, come on, she's a model. You know him, it's a miracle he even successfully asked her out!" He started the car and pulled into traffic, keeping his eyes glued on the road.

"Not like us, though. I mean, we work, but it's not odd. Right?" he glanced over at her as much as he dared, inching his way through the traffic. He hated driving in New York, but he wasn't about to get on the subway dressed like this. Or have Adri get on looking like that. No way.

"I don't think so..." she laughed, glancing over at him. Upon hearing his second comment, she smiled and reached over, gently massaging his neck as he drove. "Thanks, babe. I was wondering when you were getting to that."

Teddy shook his head a bit, chuckling to himself. Or at himself. He reached over, putting his hand on her knee. Then, he squeezed it right where he knew she was ticklish.
((Good for you!! It's Friday, no work was meant to be done on Fridays.))

"Almost, almost," Teddy answered patiently. He had always been able to keep his cool behind the wheel; he attributed that aspect to the fact he had never been in an accident.
About 10 minutes later, they pulled into the church parking lot. Teddy checked his watch. "Hey, we're still 5 minutes early!"
