((Yay! Cause I don't know when the next time I'll be on here is! I'm leaving for Cape Town tomorrow morning, but I'm leaving this afternoon to go meet up with a girl from my school in the next town over!))

Ryan grinned happily, leading her towards the middle of the dance floor. He gently put his hands around her waist, making sure that she was comfortable.

Lillian wrapped her arms around his neck, looking up at him with a somewhat shy, somewhat coy smile.
((Until Saturday! Also, Ryan and Lillian are gonna be Prom King and Queen, right?!))

((My class Valedictorian was also our prom queen, but that's because the nerds outnumbered the popular kids! HAHA))

Lillian simply shook her head, returning his smile.
Then the music stopped and the principal stepped up to the microphone to announce the Prom King and Queen.

At this point, Ryan couldn't care less if they didn't win anything. This night was perfect and all he needed was to have Lillian by his side. He was too busy admiring Lillian when he didn't even hear their names being called to the stage.
"...Ryan and Lillian!" boomed the Principal, looking at the impatiently as he held their crowns.

She didn't move until Jana came up behind her and pushed her toward the stage.

Lillian was sure she was beet red as she stood on the stage with Ryan and accepted her crown. Once it was on her head, she sidled off only to remember they had to share a spotlight dance. Something she would usually love to do with Ryan, but with the whole school watching...?
Since the theme of prom this year was "Unforgettable," the band started to play the song of the same name by Nat King Cole. Everyone in the auditorium was staring. Oh sweet Jesus.

Ryan couldn't help but smirk as he saw Lillian's face. "You'll be fine," he chuckled in her ear, leading her towards the dance floor and gently pulling her close.
"Surprised?" he asked, as he twirled her around and smiled.

Lillian blushed, trying to suppress a smile. Her heart always started to race whenever he winked at her. She wondered if he knew this or not.
