She nodded, wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him. He was her first serious relationship, as well, and she was always nervous she would screw it up somehow.

"Splash Mountain it is," Lillian replied, smiling and taking his hand. She took off toward the popular water ride at a run, weaving through the crowd of people.

"Splash Mountain?!" repeated Ryan, actually quite terrified at the fact that he was going to run into water during a ride.

"Yeah!" Lillian replied, laughing. "Come on!" They got in line, watching people come down the steep waterfall in their boats, screaming their heads off.

Lillian just chuckled to herself, rolling her eyes once she'd turned her back to him. Boys were so silly.
They waited in line for a bit, then got in the front row of the boat. "Don't worry," Lillian said to Ryan. "The front row barely gets wet." It turns out she was lying, of course. They were soaked when they got off, and Lillian was just laughing.

"You're such a liar," muttered Ryan, once they were off the ride. He actually didn't mind one bit since it was a nice cool off from the hot sun. He grabbed Lillian and wrapped his arms around her tightly. "Now, I feel all icky!"

Lillian cuddled up to him, still laughing. "Join the club!" Her Keds squished when she took a step, and her denim shorts were incredibly uncomfortable. But it had been worth it.

"Ooh, yes, please!" A warm, sugary churro sounded absolutely amazing right now. She weaved through the crowd and got in line, though it was a much shorter line than the one for Splash Mountain.

"Two please," said Ryan, once they made it to the front of the line. Before Lillian could do anything else, he already had the money ready and exchanged it for the warm churros. "Here you go!" He grinned, handing her one while he bit into his.

Lillian pursed her lips, but bit into her churro anyways. "I'll get us ice cream later, okay?"
She took his hand and they walked around some more, riding a few more rides until it was time to meet up with their parents.
