"My Mom said they'll be at the restaurant right near the Castle..." he said, looking at the text on his phone. "Apparently, it'll be a good view for the fireworks show in a couple hours."

Lillian nodded, glad her clothes and hair were nearly dry by now. The dinner last night had gone well, but she was still nervous around his parents.

"How's your family doing, by the way?" he asked curiously as they began making their way towards the restaurant.

"Fine," Lillian replied, combing her fingers through her curls, just to make sure they looked all right. "My mom said Daisy absolutely flipped out when she met the evil Stepmother from Cinderella."

"...Is that a good thing?" asked Ryan hesitantly as he weaved through the crowd, making sure to hold onto Lillian's hand.

"Oh, yeah," Lillian nodded, chuckling. "She loves the villains in all the Disney movies. She's weird like that."

Ryan laughed, shaking his head. "You two are complete opposites, aren't you?"

"Yeah, sort of. She's smart, too, but she's way more confident than I am," Lillian explained, swinging their hands back and forth as they walked.

"Just wait 'till she hits high school," mumbled Ryan. Everyone had their insecurities by the time they were teenagers. And Lillian's sister... well, was far from that.
Once they neared the restaurant, Ryan immediately spotted his family. It wasn't hard to miss, especially with the long table and his loud siblings chattering over their adventures. "Mom!" shouted Ryan, walking over towards the table.

Lillian's quiet parents were sitting with them, looking tired but happy. At first, she couldn't find Daisy, but then spotted her arguing with one of Ryan's younger brothers. Oh, Lord. Here we go.
She sat down next to Ryan, smiling shyly at his parents and letting him do all the talking.

"Lillian, what would you like? Are you two hungry?" fussed Ryan's Mom as she handed them the menus and waved over a waiter.
"Mom, we're fine," sighed Ryan, rolling his eyes before looking down at the menu.
"You two didn't get into any trouble, did you?" asked Ryan's Dad as he glanced at the pair.

Lillian blushed, her eyes fixed on the menu. "Actually, I could really go for a hamburger right now," she said quietly, nudging Ryan's foot under the table.

"Dad, we just went on a couple rides," answered Ryan immediately. "Lillian even got to meet Belle!"
"Did you take pictures?" grinned Ryan's Mom. But before he could answer, the waiter came to their table, looking quite unwilling to take down all their orders.

Lillian smiled as she thought about meeting Belle, nodding over at Ryan's mom before telling the waiter her order.
