He sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "Rosie, I--" He took a breath. "Raven, from Brooklyn. She used to hang out here a lot, I guess, from what Risk told me about her. She...well, she's back at the House in Manhattan 'cause her boyfriend left her, and she just had a baby a few months ago, and she was there in the parlor and I was there and...I dunno, it just happened..."

The good part of this super rotten, no good, very bad fuck up is that Moonshine really did want Rose. He smoothed a hand over her hair, holding her. "Tell 'em yer not feelin' good and need to go home. Lemme take ya back to the House. I just wanna be alone with you for a minute, Rosie."

She rolled her eyes, glad to find that there were no more tears. "I can just leave. I wasn't supposed to be working, so I basically just volunteered for the past couple hours..."
