((Haha, hi! I'm Jessica! Yeah, I kind of like them, they're sort of adorable ) He gave her a smile. "I like to read. It's nerdy, I know, but it's why I always got along with Tag and Specs, and people like that. I like the zoo." He blushed. That made him sound like a twelve-year-old.

Zippy looked up at him, suddenly beaming.
"I LOVE the zoo!" She hadn't thought about the zoo in years. "We should go," She suggested, grinning. "Once I have enough money, that is."

He sent her a lopsided grin. "Yeah? Well, I mean," he shrugged lightly "I got money. I could take you."

Zippy hesitated. The last time she had let a guy pay for her...
"I don't...I don't know...You seem nice, I don't want you to waste your money. We could do something else..."

He blinked at her, not understanding the sudden turn in her demeanor. "Nah, it's okay, Zip. I--I wanna." He blushed. He'd never actually take a girl out before.

((sorry, my friend called me!))
"Okay," she responded, smiling, finishing up her lunch. "I could probabbly afford to buy you a snow cone."

"No, now's great!" Zippy wiped her face with her napkin. "I gotta try to sell these remaining papers on the way though. I'm a bit rusty." She left a few quarters on the table for her soup.

David grinned, getting up and dropping money on the table. "No problem. I'm kinda rusty, too." He walked side by side with her as they headed towards Central Park. "Kinda glad I got back into it, though..." he gave her a sidelong look and a sheepish grin.

"What made you decide to? The last I heard you were back in school," Zippy conversed, taking a pape out of her bag and waving it around, shouting out a headline.

He shrugged, taking a couple of her papers to help her out. "I dunno. I guess I just got bored." He glanced over at her, then blushed when he realized he was staring.

"Bored? With what? I wish I could go to school. I used to really like it," Zippy told him, selling a paper to a young woman.

He sold a paper, then handed the money over to Zippy. "I'm not so good at making friends. And I knew everything they were trying to teach me, anyway."

"Really?" Zippy glanced at him, fond of him already as she slipped the coins into her pocket. "What sorts of things do you like to learn about?"

"I'm real good at math. Maybe I'll get a job in a bank or work as an accountant one day." He smirked a little at the thought. "Then I'd had tons of money, and we could go to the zoo all the time."
