"He might be silly, but he's adorable as hell," Nate quipped, lightly bouncing Sean in his arms again.
He chewed lightly on the inside of his cheek. "Have you seen Sean's dad lately? I mean, I think I've heard he's back in town."

"Um...yeah I've seen him. He sees Sean too." She said. Rae was sort of cryptic when it came to Spot, not really sharing too much with anyone. "He does his best you know?" Raven said and sighed.

"Well, things gotta be the way they are for a reason, I guess," he agreed. Truth be told, he still found himself wishing from time to time that things were different from the way they were. He was just now finally starting to accept his new and current reality.
"So, umm, how about we go find those giraffes, yeah?" He looked down at Sean and smriked. "How about it, little man?"

Sean nodded profusely. "Yeah!" he yelped.
"Oh I think somebody's excited!" she said and smiled at Sean, walking beside Nate to see the giraffes.

"I think the only animal he wouldn't be excited to see would be a squirrel or a pigeon," Nate joked. He walked closely to Rae as they headed towards the giraffes, trying his best to contain Sean in his arms. "You weren't kidding about him, he is a squirmy little guy!"

"He'd run away if I let him," Rae said with a smile watching as Sean reached all the way out toward the giraffes.

"Well, we can't have that, can we?" Nate chuckled and took a step closer to the giraffe enclosure so Sean could get a better look.
"Look at their necks, Sean! They're so big!"

Sean lifted his head all the way up trying to make his neck long like a giraffe.

Nate laughed loudly, his stomach hurting as a result. This kid was too much! "I can't...." he said, still laughing. "Where does he come up with this stuff, Rae?"
