Her eyes widened a little and she leaned forward conspiratorially. "You--ya'd do that for me? 'Cause I gotta be honest, Erin, it's drivin' me nuts, not knowin'! He kisses me like he means it, and gets all bent outta shape when I dance. But then whenever the topic comes up about us, he changes the subject or distracts me with somethin'."
