"After you go to vet school," Lana added optimistically. "I imagine that animal doctors make enough money for a hundred new shirts." She shrugged and poured the boiling water into each of the mugs. She added in the tea leaves and carefully brought the mugs over to the table. "Until then, I am more than glad to fix your shirts."

Leo smiled. He had been waiting a long time for a girl like Lana..."Where would you like to go for dinner tomorrow? Have you ever had Mexican food?"

"I have never had Mexican food before," Lana answered with a shake of her head. She sat down at the table across from him and took a sip of her tea. "What is it like? Do you think I will like it?"

"It is quite spicy. Do you like foods with spice?" He asked her, hesitating a bit. Leo actually had no idea if she'd like it, although most people he talked to loved tacos.

Lana thought for a moment. She couldn't remember if she had ever had any food with lots of spice in it. "I do not know," she admitted bashfully, "but I would like to try it. After all, you did try my food..."

Leo chuckled. "yes i did! We can go tomorrow!" Leo was excited, he hadn't been to his favorite Mexican restaurant in months.

Lana's hands clasped together excitedly. Going to Irving Hall was quite obviously turning out to be the best decision she had ever made. "Tomorrow is perfect," she agreed again. "Shall I meet you at Medda's, or do you want to come back here first?"

Leo smiled at her. "I'm off tomorrow, so I'll be here."

"Oh! Then, I guess I will meet you here then," Lana shrugged. She finished up her tea and looked across the table at him, unsure of what to say. "Do you think Starfish is okay?"

"Course," Leo replied, hugging his mug to his frosted fingers. "Do you plan on moving back to Russia one day?"

"I do not think so," Lana answered with a shake of her head. "I think I would only go if my brother wanted to and I did not have a reason to stay here." And even then, she was fairly certain that the only way her brother would let her stay behind would be if she were married. "Do you plan to return to Mexico?"

Leo shrugged. "I would like to visit, but probably not, no. Although Mexico is a lot closer than Russia is."

"Russia is very, very far away," Lana laughed. "That is why I would not like to go back unless I knew that there is absolutely nothing here for me. It is not like crossing the street. I can not go back and forth on a whim."

Leo nodded. "New York is very crowded. I would like to go West and open up an animal hospital somewhere. It all depends on whether or not I get into vet school."

"You will," Lana assured him confidently. Hey, someone had to be the optimistic one! "And you will be an animal doctor! The best, I would guess." She paused, chewing lightly on her lower lip. "How far West would you go? The West is big, yes?"
