Jack shrugged and smiled awkwardly, he looked down into her eyes. He licked his lips. No, what was he doing? Uh, "yeah you're welcome." he smiled and took a step back from her.

Birdie met his eyes and bit her bottom lip. What was she doing? She sincerely hoped, if her parents were looking proudly down upon her, they weren't seeing this -- was Beatrice Sims really wanting to kiss a boy she'd only known for a couple of weeks?
As he stepped back, she blushed red and hastily sat up in her chair. No, no, definitely no.

Birdie let out a weak, nervous giggle as she glanced at the window and realized the sun had finally set. "I guess we should." She got to her feet and started to put her violin away, still blushing.
