She grunted, she was a tiny thing-- a tough girl in her own right, but anybody in pain couldn't hold up the attitude forever. "Even if that wasn't likely, you could hold your own against the guys here I'd wager.."

[Hammer]

"Hey, I just don't wanna start off the wrong foot around here..." he muttered, slowly climbing up the stairs to make sure that he wasn't creating any additional pain.

[Picks]

Her grin was quick and she actually chuckled before wincing, "... no you started on the right." It was silly and a stupid comment to make, but she didn't know where everyone was or what was going on. "Guess this makes us friends, yeah?"

[Hammer]

"Haha, you're funny," he chuckled as he heard her first comment. Finally reaching the second floor, he stopped in front of the bunkroom door and gently let her back down.

"Yeah, friends," he grinned. "You're my first friend here in Brooklyn."

"Lucky me," she replied looking up at him, using her hand to steady herself. "You'll make friends, the guys'll like you..." Taking a breath she opened the door and closed her eyes for a moment. "Thanks for breaking me out for a little bit."

Hammer shrugged, giving her a small smile. "Well, thanks for showing me around."

[Picks]

She nodded her head slowly, tilting her head up to see him though her head fell back a bit against the wall. ".. I didn really do that. But... was nice to meet you, John." She'd never call him by his nickname.... some names she just liked better than their alternatives. "See you around.." But she didn't move, just stayed there.
