She finally saw Dairy Queen come into view and she immediately got in line. "What do you want? I'll treat you."

"Next time?" He raised his eyebrow. "Oh you already planning on there being a next time?" He teased, before leaning against the counter and immediately ordering a chocolate fudge sundae and charming the pants off the girl behind the counter.

"Eli!" she laughed, poking him in the stomach. Once she saw his attempt at flirting with the girl, she couldn't help but smirk. Yup, he didn't change.

"And what do you want?" He asked Adri, slipping a $10 bill to the ice cream girl. "Whatever she says, she's crazy, her ice cream is good and paid for, ya got that, Sweetie?"
the girl nodded and then turned her attention to Adri.

"Cookies and cream in a waffle cone, please," she chuckled. Eli still had his charm. She was quite sure that that never went away. Once they both had their ice cream, she spotted two seats by the window. She quirked her head towards that direction and sat down.
"I missed ya, Eli," she finally said after a couple of moments.
