She settled back into bed and reached over to turn off the light. That didn't mean she was going to sleep just yet. "So, you really missed me? Even though I sing Sam Cooke in the shower?" she said softly through the darkness, laying next to him.

Lillian almost immediately fell asleep, sleeping better than she had in six weeks. She woke up early the next morning, as per usual, and slipped out of bed to make breakfast. She came back into her room carrying eggs, bacon, and sausage with a mu of coffee on a tray.

Tyler's medication had knocked him out, and he woke up later than usual. He was roused by the smell of bacon and coffee, stretching out as he opened his eyes. "Mm, that for me baby?"
