Beth had her biggest knife out, a glittering blade that she polished pretty often in a loving, totally non-serial-killer-like manner. Her other hand held Risk's. And of course, he had his gun. And they were both out for blood. She really pitied anyone who ran into them right now. But the gunfire in some other part of the building suggested that Tristan and Jimmy were keeping everyone busy.
Until they approached Eastman's office and a thug stepped out of the shadows, reaching for a gun.
Macbeth didn't even think. She dove at him and plunged her blade into his chest. He went down with a cry, bleeding like crazy, but he wasn't dead; she hadn't exactly aimed well. Instead, he was lying there gasping in pain, and she backed away, groping blindly for the doorknob they wanted.

"Adri, Adri..." muttered Risk as he spotted his sister in the corner, shivering and head held down in her arms. "We're here, c'mon, it's okay..."
Ershey gasped at his touch, her eyes widening as she reached up to hug him. "H-He was going to..."

Macbeth threw her arms around Ershey from the other side, tears rushing out of her eyes with no warning. "It's all right, Ersh. We're gonna get outta here. Everything's gonna be all right."
And then there was a deafening blast, and something whizzed right past her. Beth's heart almost stopped. She pulled Risk and Ershey down just in time, before the second bullet flew over their heads. The man she'd stabbed outside the door had a gun. And he'd recovered enough to start shooting at them.

"Table," muttered Risk as he crawled behind Eastman's desk and took out his gun, making sure that there were bullets before peering up and firing at the thug. He hoped that Tristan or Jimmy was near somewhere. One gun was good but he knew it'd take more than a couple bullets to take him down.

((Tristan to the rescue))
"Son of a bitch!" Tristan bellowed as he let a gunshot blast. It hit him right in the neck and he went down like a ton of bricks.
"Come on! Everyone get the fuck out!" he yelled at them, gun still ready to be used.

((Haha, I was hoping he'd show up! Also, Ersh, are we gonna run into Sammie? )) Macbeth certainly didn't need to be told twice. Still holding onto Ershey as if she'd never let go, she grabbed Risk's hand as well and bolted out of the room, barely taking the time to nod her thanks at Tristan before charging down the hall, sending panicked glances in every direction as they ran.

Tristan followed right behind them. Somebody could easily come rushing out of one of the many bedrooms to attach unsuspectingly. Jimmy seemed to be doing alright downstairs. He couldn't let Macbeth, Ershey or Risk get killed, he'd feel guilty for the rest of his life.
He made his way to the middle of the group. When they reached the stairs that's when he saw the guy with the gun.
Tristan immediately let a round fly as he leapt in front of Macbeth. He knew he hit the guy since he heard him tumble down the stairs. He also knew that he'd been hit, all the air went out of him and he collapsed backward, grabbing the railing. Shit...shit shit...if he died Nevada was gonna kill him. fucking kill him. Nevada...He grabbed his shoulder.

((Yes! I'm multi-tasking right now, which is why I'm a bit slow!))
The second Risk saw Tristan get hit, Risk pulled out his gun and started firing at the thug. After a couple more hits, he was finally down. It looked as if they were almost there. They were almost freaking free. Up until he saw Sammie.
"Don't you dare escape right now," she growled, pointing a gun at the group and firing at them.
((Eeeep!!!))

Tristan of course, being Tristan fucking Shamien hoisted himself up from the floor in a matter of seconds. Also being a prize fighter, he was pretty good at being fast when in incredible pain. This meant that he lifted his gun and pointed it at Sammie's head in another two seconds.
He was as white as a sheet and looked like he was going to keel over any second, blood poured out of his shoulder, but he glared at that bitch like he was ready to claw her eyes out with his bare hands.
"I will personally remove your tongue with my bare hands. They are leaving and they are leaving right now." He growled.
Ever faithful Jimmy of course appeared when most needed. He grabbed Sammie around the neck from behind and then held the gun to her head.
"Thank fucking God..." Tristan groaned, he swayed on his feet.

((The sheer amount of drama that has now been caused by the scheming brain of Goblin Pearson is kind of terrifying. )) So it was safe to say that everything had gone all to hell. First Beth saw Tristan go down, then Sammie appeared, and then she was on the floor without knowing how she'd gotten there. It took her another second or two to realize that the bullets had stopped, that Tristan and some other guy had Sammie under control, and that she actually hadn't been hit. But, dear God, had anyone else?

((Tristan might actually punch him after this LOL))
Tristan swallowed hard and took deep short breaths. He couldn't hold the gun anymore and it dropped from his hands. He stumbled back against the railing. Everything was getting kind of blurry at this point. He blink and then his knees buckled. He collapsed to the floor.

"Let go of me, you jerk!" yelled Sammie as she bit Tristan's arm, trying her best to get away from him.
"Just take her with us," said Risk, pulling Macbeth and Ershey out of the craziness and towards the end of the hallway. All he wanted to see was the street. He just wanted to be out of this mess and made sure everyone got out of this alive.

Macbeth would have loved to leave, she really would've, but she tended to have annoying flares of conscience about leaving people bleeding on the floor. Especially people who had just saved her life.
"Hang on," she muttered, pulling away from Risk and going back to Tristan. She yanked off her blouse, which was hardly a big deal since she always wore three or four layers, and set about quickly binding up the wound. Few people knew it, but she was good at this stuff. "You gonna be able to get him home?" she demanded of the other random stranger with the gun.

"Yeah, don't worry about it. What the hell are you'se gonna do with her?" Jimmy inquired, actually interested...he also kind of wanted to help torture her.
Tristan looked at Macbeth, still swallowing hard. "Tell...Nevada." he said. "Can't go home," He breathed through gritted teeth. "Kids..."

"The kids'll be fine," she snapped. "And you're gonna get home. It ain't that bad." She looked down at the blood seeping between her fingers and gulped, bunching up the fabric and pressing down to stop the bleeding. She left Risk to answer the question about Sammie; she couldn't be bothered about Sammie right now. Later, though, when all this was over...
