The next few weeks Leo rested, getting better and catching up in class.
Finally he graduated and took Kathryn to a nice dinner.

Kathryn held Leo's hand from across the table, smiling over at him. Her parents were still unsure of this relationship, but she knew she could convince them he was what was best for her. If she couldn't, then Leo would just by being himself.

Kathryn's eyes widened as she looked at the ring. Then she looked up at Leo, mouth slightly agape. "Of--of course," she sputtered, shaking herself out of her daze. "Of course I will!"

This statement made Kathryn bite her lip and sigh. "I'm afraid that's not how it works...My parents will insist on a large wedding. It wouldn't be right for the mayor to throw a wedding for his daughter and not invite every single person he knows..." But then, a sly smirk came across her lips. "Unless..."
