Eli came in then, exhausted from the day, but really needing a drink. He glanced around the place for signs of Luke, surprised that he wasn't at the bar. He looked at the dance floor, his eyes landing on Luke dipping...Trixie?!
He leaned against the bar, watching them dance, frowning.

Trixie didn't notice Eli come in until Luke spun her again and her eyes caught sight of him at the bar. Her smile faltered, but she plastered it back on, looking up at Luke as they continued to dance.

Luke noticed Eli by the bar and quickly let go of Trixie. "Eli is here!" He walked away and hugged Eli. "You doing okay?" He asked him.
Eli patted Luke's back and stepped back. "I'm fine. You're drunk." Luke nodded and Eli placed Luke on a stool.

Trixie followed a little more slowly, then leaned against the bar, trying to look casual. "Hey, Eli."

She lifted a shoulder. "Just on the weekends. One a' Medda's girls got knocked up, so they needed a replacement. Still sell during the week." She looked at him, trying to gauge how upset he was about it.

"Whatta doin dancing with Lucas?" Eli asked her, frowning. Luke put his head down on the counter.
"I'm going home, man," Luke said to Eli, patting him on his shoulder and standing up.
"You'll be able to make it back?" Eli asked him. Luke shrugged and began to walk back.
"Bye Beautiful," he cooed at Trixie as he left.

She smiled at Luke, waggling her fingers at him as he walked away, then frowned at Eli. "Why shouldn't I dance with Luke?"

Eli didn't know what to say to her. "Because..." He frowned, his face falling. "Didn't ya get my message at the LH? With my new address on it?"

The look on his face nearly broke her heart, but she only shrugged. "I got it. Didn't know if ya wanted me to come or not. Didn't wanna bug you while you were gettin' settled in."

Eli gave her a hard look. "I wouldn't have told ya where I lived if I didn't want ya stopping by. You know what," he snapped, shaking his head. "I'm gonna go catch up with Luke. Make sure he gets home alright."
He stomped past her , hurrying to catch up with him.

She blinked at him, gaping. He was mad at her?! She frowned, then went after him. "Eli! Eli, stop!"

She winced when he yelled at her, face falling. She answered him in a soft voice, looking down at the ground. "We were only dancin'..."
