"Oh, I--I don't think so," she replied, shaking her head. "I don't know anyone in Brooklyn...besides you, of course." And why would he be interested in seeing her again?

Tag stopped her trek down the stairs. "You're...you're the leader of Brooklyn?" Oh dear. She'd heard things about Brooklyn and its leadership. None of it had sounded pretty.

Tag was kind of scared to say 'no.' Hawk seemed like the kind of leader who got what he wanted. And made a fuss if he didn't. Plus...she couldn't deny that he was incredibly good looking.
"Sure, that would be nice," she replied, nodding.

Lenny was about to help tag into the boat. "stop" hawk ordered, looking at Tag. Lenny pulled away.
"I don't need any lady friends" hawk repeated again. He really didn't. Either they pleasured him or they caused him trouble.
