Zippy didn't know where else to go. She hovered outside of Raven's apartment early in the morning, leaning against the wall trying to pull herself together.
This couldn't be happening. They had taken precautions. They had been SO CAREFUL. and now...well now zippy was constantly pinching herself to clarify she was awake because she felt like she was in one of her nightmares. On the verge of a panic attack, Zippy knocked on Raven's door.

"Oh Seany who could that be?" Rae asked her son who was currently playing in a pile of flower on the floor. He looked up at her then quired a brow.
"No!" Sean said and then giggled.
"No?" Rae rolled her eyes and then wiped her hands on her skirt. She opened the door. "Zippy! Hey!"

Zippy barely forced a friendly smile before it faded, and she grasped the door frame.
"Rae. How do you know you are pregnant?"

"Well the first sign is real easy, that you ain't had your period in at least three months, cause if you just skipped one you could actually just be late." She let Zippy into the apartment and then closed to the door behind her.
Sean peeked his head around the kitchen island and squealed at her, clapping his hands, flour dust burst into the air.

"Okay well you would know that better than me. Feeling queasy in the mornings? Do your breasts hurt? Mine were really sore in the beginning, like I couldn't even touch them...or if I did I really wanted to have sex," She admitted, immediately putting a pot of water on for tea. She flattened her hands against her counter and tilted her head to the side.
"And I just knew." She said finally and shrugged a shoulder.

God all those things were happening to her. The morning sickness. The breast tenderness. Zippy sat down at her kitchen table and started bawling, burying her face in her hands.

"Oh God," Rae said, she was not good with crying. Even though she was a mother now, she still couldn't stand it. "Zippy... it'll be fine." She stepped around the counter to her and patted her shoulder. "Hey...look at me. Zippy..."

Zippy wiped her eyes, trying to get a hold of herself. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." she sniffled, shaking her head. "we were so careful, Rae. I even got us these...these rubbers."

"Obviously they didn't work." Rae said with a sigh and sat down next to her, she rubbed her back. "It ain't the worst thing in the world, Zip." She gave her chin a tap.
"Look at what I got," She nodded toward Sean who was looking a little like Casper the friendly ghost at the moment, but he was hysterical, laughing, cracking himself up as he clapped his hands.
"Mama!" He said with a giggle and Rae waved at him.

"God, Rae, I'm...a mess." Zippy rubbed her temples. "David's gonna be thrilled. He's gonna marry me and he'll get a laborer job to help support me and the kid..." She shivered. "he's worth more than that. I didn't want it to be this way."
She looked at Raven sadly. "I think....I need to....take care of it."

"You better really think about it, Zip. You can never take that back and it's dangerous," she said to her. "I thought about it for half a second ya know?" She sighed heavily and then leaned back against the counter.

Zippy nodded, understanding. She glanced back at Sean, smiling a little. "Rae...." She looked around. "Your apartment is really nice. A lot nicer than I remember it..."
