The next morning, Zippy met Raven in front of Annie's Bakery, and she was inhaling a doughnut. And she had three more in her bag. She offered the bag to Raven. She looked like a mess- she hadn't slept at all last night- but she needed to get this over with.
"I told David. He left me. Let's just go so I can properly mourn the loss of both my child and my relationship."

"Whoa," Rae said and took a good look at her, "Zippy, you look like hell. Are you sure you wanna do this? Just cause you think something will make things easier sometimes it don't."
Rae had a feeling that maybe Zippy really had no idea what she wanted to do.
