Rae laughed, "it's worth a shot." she shrugged. When they finally arrived at home the first thing that greeted them was Sean screaming "mama! Maaaaaamaaaaaa!"
Raven hurried into the apartment and scooped him up giving him a big kiss. She turned to her sitter and said, "thank you mrs. Waterman," she went over to the stand in the living room and handed the woman a dollar.
"he was no trouble, I hope you girls had a nice morning," she said as she waved goodbye and left the apartment.

Zippy plopped down on the couch, and immediately laid down, hitting her head against a cushion. When did life get so complicated?
And when did Raven become so....grown up?

"you're not a failure," Rae said as she set the teapot on the stove. Sean rested his head against his mothers shoulder and stuck his thumb in his mouth.
"I'd rather have you back out than do something you'd regret forever." she tenderly smoothed back Sean's hair from his forehead and smiled down at him.
She walked into the living room and sat down on the chair across from Zippy, Sean rested back against her chest and she wrapped her arm around him.
