"I can start challengin' some of these guys to a game of pool. You can start collecting some bets and when I win, you'll get commission because they'll have no idea to bet on me." Piper suggested, waving down the bartender for a refill.

Piper chuckled. Guess he wasnt as good of a guy as she originally thought. Piper took her beer and headed to a pool table, starting a game.

Handsome and conniving? Piper put her amusement aside as the man she was playing against laughed with Jimmy.
"I'm sure your pops taught you all that you know, huh doll?" He said, chalking up his pool cue.
Piper didn't say anything, she just shrugged. "Gotta start somewhere, dont I?"

"You takin' bets?" Another man asked the group, laughing as Piper attempted to break the triangle of balls.
"How bout this, Sweets? I break, you watch and learn?" Her competitor offered, stroking her cheek. She was about to smack him but instead smiled.
"Show me what ya got."

A few of the men put money on the game, one even joking he could buy his wife a new bracelet with the winnings.
Piper's competitor missed the ball and piper took the next shot, missing the white ball completely. "Whoops."
The surrounding men laughed. "It's a good thing you're a looker, hon."

Piper pretended to be insulted. "Stop! You guys are all assholes! I just want to play for fun!"
The men laughed. "Your turn sweetface." piper sighed, and hit at the ball, missing again.
5 more men placed bets with Jimmy.

"Will you at least show me?" she asked one of the men sweetly, who grinned and shook his head.
"after the game." he told her, and she chalked up her cue more, getting upset that they were all making fun of her.
Then she exchanged a glance with jimmy. Any minute she'd win it, and then they'd have to run.

It was her turn again. Her opponent had gotten in half his balls, and she'd only gotten in a few.
It was time.
Piper took a shot, sending in two of her solid colored balls in at once. She continued to shoot them in, one after the other, to the amazement of all the men.
"8 ball, lower right pocket." the ball soared in casually and she shrugged, smiling sweetly. "Beginners luck, I guess."
"she framed us!" her opponent shouted, and someone else looked at jimmy. "So did he!"
