Macbeth chuckled. "He ain't that bad, Ersh. Ain't ruined Jo yet, has he? For a boy, I dunno...Aaron, Andrew...you could always go with Anthony, Race'd be thrilled," she said, smirking.

"Race'll laugh his ass off," muttered Ershey, laughing softly. She sighed, preparing herself when she finally got home and told Mush the news. "Aaron and Ariana? What do you think?"

Ershey's eyes widened. "Twins?" she muttered. "One is enough already but two?"

"Let's just pray to Jesus and Mary and the Hindu gods that it's just one," Beth said with a laugh, though the thought of trying to deliver twins was actually horrifying.

Ershey chuckled softly, nodding. She glanced over at Macbeth, feeling extremely grateful to have her by her side. "Beth, thanks for coming with me. I don't think I could've handled that by myself."

"You'd've done the same for me," Macbeth said with a smile, giving her a friend a one-armed squeeze. She paused, thinking about what she'd just said. "But I really bloody hope you'll never have to."

Ershey smirked. "Aw, why not?" she teased. "Seriously, you and Alec just need to get together... er, officially, I mean... and just be done with it. Be a family. Have babies!"

"We've got a family!" Beth practically yelped. "We've got Jo! And...and you and Mush. And your future babies. That's all we need! No more babies." Especially not ones that come out of me.

"Okay, okay, calm down," laughed Ershey, shaking her head at her friend. "I was just... suggesting. The three of you really are a family, anyway. Doesn't matter what anyone else says."

"'Xactly," Beth grumbled, staring at the door to Ershey's apartment. "So...you gonna tell Mush now?"

Ershey nodded, sighing. "I'll get Jo for you... I'll let you know how it goes." She opened the door and disappeared for a couple minutes before returning with Jo.

"Hey, kiddo. Hope you were good for Uncle Teddy."
"We made pictures of fish," Jo announced, beaming. "My fish was purple, and that ain't a real color for fish, but I don't care because he turned himself purple by magic and he's gonna teach all the other fish to be purple too. Can I play with the clock again?"
Beth looked up at Ershey with a bit of an evil smirk. "You've got a lot to look forward to, love. Good luck." She gave her shoulder one last squeeze before leading her chattering niece down the hall.
